Joint Mobilisation and Manipulation
Manual stretching and loosening of joint stiffness which is often a cause of pain

Soft tissue Mobilisation
Stressing the soft tissues(Muscles/Tendons) in a controlled rhythmical motion to promote healing

Connective tissue massage
Stretching of the soft tissues around the injured area to produce a localised increase in circulation

Electrotherapy
Ultrasound,Megapulse and T.N.S.is used to reduce swelling,relieve pain and promote healing.

Acupuncture
Useful for pain relief and relaxation of "Trigger Points"or tight painful spots in muscles

Personalised exercise programmes
It is an essential part of the treatment,working at home between sessions to stretch and strengthen the affected area

Ergonomic advice
Changing work position and lifting procedures could stop chronic pain production

Postural Advice
We get used to sitting,walking and standing in a certain way.This may be putting stress on ligaments and causing pain.

Return to work Programmes
After prolonged sickness activities have to be gradually introduced as the injured area becomes stronger and more resilient.

Work Station Assessments
For anyone spending time in front of a computer, sitting position, hand arm position and screen height and position need to be checked.
